Construction has officially started at the $23 million Runaway Bay residential project Ocean Suites on Jennifer, with only two of the seven waterfront villas remaining for sale.
Designed by the multi-award-winning building designer Stuart Osman, and developed by accomplished Gold Coast-based Sand Side Developments, the project is moving full steam ahead with residents expected to move in by the middle of next year.
Each of the seven villas, which range from 345 sqm to 388 sqm over four levels, is fitted with features including a private rooftop terrace with panoramic views, an alfresco dining area and bar, a pontoon with direct access to the Broadwater, and a personal Italian five-person lift.
Tye Alroe of Alroe Constructions said demolition was now complete, with preparation for foundations and slabs now underway.
“My team have spent the past 12 months working alongside Sand Side Developments to ensure this project is completed on time and to the highest standard, and the process to date has been very collaborative with a clear direction right from the beginning,” he said, adding that the goal was to produce an impeccable product using the best finishes, materials, and craftsmanship possible.
Sand Side Developments and Alroe Constructions recently completed Marina Palms at Paradise Point.
NPA Projects director Andrew Erwin, who is marketing the development, said the project was a dream come true for downsizers.
“The villas offer house-sized proportions without the upkeep of a family home, with all the space you need to entertain the extended family combined with the privacy of luxury amenities that you don’t have to share with your neighbours,” he said.
“Each villa has four large ensuited bedrooms, two expansive living areas ideal for zoned living, and two entertaining areas including a 105m wide undercover patio area, plunge pool, outdoor shower, and fire pit area.
“When comparing the price per square metre, Ocean Suites on Jennifer is a very affordable option given an apartment with close to this amount of space and shared amenities down the road in Main Beach would be more than $5 million.”
Situated between Hope Island and Main Beach with absolute Broadwater frontage, meandering canal systems, and tree-lined coastal parks, Mr Erwin said Runaway Bay was a secret mecca for those seeking laid back luxury.
“With a strong downsizer market and more than 50 percent of the community aged over 50, Runaway Bay is fast gaining popularity as a hidden treasure for boaties, ocean lovers, and nature enthusiasts alike wanting to make the most of the nearby Broadwater, parklands, playgrounds, and open spaces the suburb provides,” he said.
The remaining villas at Ocean Suites on Jennifer start from $3.435 million.
